Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the functional team leads and SMEs to translate business requirements and metrics into training needs; including conducting needs analyses, developing learning objectives, scope, audience, timing, delivery method, and resources needed to fulfill training needs within budget and timeline requirements
  • Work with the functional team leads and SMEs to determine need for certifications, credentialing, CEUs and any other professional certifications needed by employee groups; plan achievement of those certifications using appropriate observation or electronic mechanism
  • Apply instructional design and adult learning theory to manage the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of assigned training programs, which may include instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and elearning and blended learning programs
  • Design and develop Aveanna New Hire Orientation curriculum
  • Conduct onsite training as required to proactively or reactively address certain operational performance improvements needs
  • Research software and vendors which can improve Aveanna’s learning and development program that is consistent with company values, mission, strategic initiatives, and financial position
  • Lead vendor Request for Proposal, selection, and Service Level Agreement efforts, along with LMS administrator; establishes and manages vendor relationships
  • Manage the definition, collection, and roll-up of program metrics; measure and evaluate the effectiveness and achievement of objectives and alignment with business priorities
  • Create and publish development standards, processes, and templates to produce consistent, quality instructional materials
  • Understand IT processes and the impact on the development and delivery of training
  • Designs various before, during, and after learning measurement activities and works with People Services, managers, and associates to ensure knowledge and skills are transferred to the job
  • Where appropriate, ensure that training activities include performance metrics that identify return on investment (ROI)
  • Assist Company in achieving an unqualified SOX 404 attestation annually
  • Assist Company in achieving CHAP certification annually
  • May supervise others
