The Senior Treasury Accountant is responsible for treasury management and general accounting. Managing cash positions in multiple banks, projecting cash flows and borrowing requirements, and accounting for banking transactions in the ledger system is a large portion of the responsibilities for the position. Must meet deadlines timely and with accuracy.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Accounts for daily banking activity across multiple accounts and banking platforms.
Projects the Company’s cash position (daily and weekly) to determine borrowing requirements.
Processes ACH and Wire payments within banking platforms.
Reconciles banking transactions within general ledger system (Workday).
Records General Ledger Activity as assigned on Accounting Close Schedule.
Reconciles Balance Sheet Accounts as assigned during monthly close process.
Calculates and processes Sales and Use tax payments through state portals.
Accounts for fixed assets within general ledger system (Workday)
Works well with various team members within Accounting/Finance Department (Senior Accountants, Accounts Payable staff, Payroll staff) to achieve common goals.
Researches and resolves inquiries from operations team members (Aveanna's Directors, Regional V.P.’s, and Division V.P.)
Performs other projects and/or duties to meet department requirements.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work as job duties demand.
No travel required.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of Treasury and accounting experience
Experience with multiple locations and DBAs (Doing BusinessAs entities)
Prior experience with web-based general ledger accounting systems (Workday, Hyperion, NetSuite, Multiview, etc.).
Must have advanced level knowledge of Excel, including V-Lookups, SumIF, Pivot tables, etc.
Working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), including funding transactions, sweeps and wires, loans renewals, LIBOR and Prime rates, cash forecasting and bank reporting.
Must be able to read and comprehend financial data and perform various mathematical and financial calculations.
Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, and statutes, which govern employment policies and practices
Must be highly organized and take ownership of assigned duties.
Must be able to exercise good judgment with some degree of independence, possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and analyze data
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience working in a Healthcare or Banking environment a plus
Experience working through Mergers and Acquisitions a plus
Experience working in the treasury department of a publicly traded company a plus
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Maintains active CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) Designation.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) a plus but not required
